Hello out there! I have had a good fun ride of a year since my last blog post and I am going to pretend that it has not been that long. We are now ready for the summer to come and thanks to Colin we now have a wonderful sandbox in our yard to play in. Halle loves it, but I think that I might love it just a little more than her. It is just so fun to walk barefoot in sand! We also just enjoyed a fun week with Kevin and Sarah and Simon who came to stay at our place until Sarah delivered their baby since they live 2 and a half hours from the hospital and we only live about 30 minutes or so away from it. I actually made the trip from our house to the hospital really really fast because I happened to have been the one driving Sarah to the hospital while she was in labor. We arrived there just in time because she delivered baby Janie about 10 minutes after arriving! Janie didn't even wait for her Dad to get there. Boy we sure were cutting it close. I have only heard stories or seen movies where a delivery has happened so fast! I am grateful to have been a part of it though. It will always be a fun memory to share and I can't wait to share it with Janie when she is older. We are so excited to have a new niece!

Our awesome new sandbox that I love to play in (and so does Halle)

CALIFORNIA TRIP

We took a family trip to California with Halle's Aunt Sarah, Uncle Kevin and Cousin Simon. We had a fabulous time and were fortunate enough to stay at Sarah's wonderful parents house. We had a great time at Disneyland and just enjoying the beaches.

Wintertime with Halle

Wow! The holidays have come and gone, Halle is almost 15 months old and I haven't blogged about anything! Well, Halle just started walking a couple of weeks ago finally! It is fun to watch her learn and grow. She can now repeat and say quite a few words. Some of my favorite are turtle, purple, goke (for goat) and lunch! She calls all meals "lunch" even though I always say the correct meal before we have it: For example in the morning I say "We're hungry lets go eat breakfast" Halle replies by simply saying "lunch." It makes me laugh every time. She also insists that I read a particular book to her at least 3 times each day called "But No Elephants" It was one of my favorites when I was little so it is fun to see her also loving it.

Here are some newer pictures:

Bucket List

I know that most people are more interested in seeing pictures of Halle on any new post. Unfortunately there aren't gunna be any this time :( I recently viewed the movie Bucket List and I thought I might write one of my own. The following are things I want to do before I kick the bucket(not in any particular order):

1. Ride in a Semi-truck (I have always wanted to know what it would be like)
2. Ride in a hot air balloon
3. See the great pyramids of Egypt

Thats all for now. I will definitely add more as I ponder the things that will make my life complete before I kick the bucket

Hello out there!

I know it has been a few days since I have updated you on our lives so here goes:

Halle is now 8 1/2 months old and she crawls all over the house and likes to carry small toys in her mouth. I am remembering why I don't post so often.... because this blog is not Melissa friendly and I can't seem to make posting pictures and words underneath pictures easier I don't get it! Help?

I Had a Dream..Last Night

Ok, I had a pretty unusual dream last night. I dreamt that people thought that I looked like Jesus. I know, I know very weird! I was treated like a travel destination: People came from all over the country to have their picture taken with me. In my dream I looked the same as I currently do but with brown hair instead of red. Colin and I lived in what appeared to be a farm state like Kansas or something and I didn't believe I had any sort of resemblance... (you tell me). It was sort of like when people think they see the Virgin Mary carved naturally in a tree or in their toast or something like that. Any how I thought I might share this bizarre experience in my dreamland and invite anyone out there to share their odd and unusual dreams.
